James Lostetter

February 11, 1970 — April 3, 2022

On April 3rd 2022 at 10:10 a.m, James "Jimmy" George Lostetter left his earthly body to begin his journey into the serenity and bliss of the afterlife. He was born on February 11th, 1970, to parents John Lewis Lostetter I and Susan Angeline Schumacher Lostetter.

Jimmy had such a beautiful mind, complex and creative. He possessed a unique view of the world, and was so full of ideas no other could even begin to comprehend. He was kind, accepting of his life's trials, and fought to live with his broken body and mind until the very last beat of his big loving heart.

Jimmy's interest in nature, his family, one-of-a kind artwork, and his witty sense of humor kept him thriving during the darkest hours he endured. Life gave him so many challenges, and not a single one kept him from giving his all to succeed. He is an unforgettable man, and the memories which we hold and cherish will keep him alive and near us until the end of time.

A son, brother, uncle, and friend, his life will be an example for all to never give up and keep smiling while facing uphill battles head on. In the words of Gemma, his 8-year-old niece, "Jimmy is in a happy place where nobody can get hurt. He can have friends and talk to people and just be happy!" In honor of James, please offer kindness to your fellow man. Be gracious for what you have, treat others with respect, and do not judge those who are different from yourselves.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his father John Lewis Lostetter I, grandparents F. George Schumacher, Alma E. Rose Schumacher, Charles M. Lostetter, Anna Pauline Fry-Lostetter, sister-in-law Valerie Jayne Lostetter, uncle Charles M. Lostetter, uncle James Milton Lostetter, aunt Lenice Marie Lostetter Knoble, aunt/godmother Mary M. Schumacher Meyer and nephew Nicholas Alan Schlewitz.

He is survived by his mother Susan A. Lostetter (Brett Sieberlich), nephew Samuel P. Schlewitz, nephew Demetrius Lostetter Larson(son of Timothy J.
