Gregory Nerbovig

Gregory A. Nerbovig, age 80 of Eau Claire, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024. Greg was born in Eau Claire on November 16, 1944 to Gerald and Beata Nerbovig.

He was a math teacher for 38 ½ years for the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District. Greg enjoyed teaching, supporting and inspiring anyone he met. He was most proud of the Spiral Assessment Method that he developed over the years and presented at the national level.

Greg was a weight and power lifter, winning state competitions as both competitor and coach.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Sara); daughter Nickie Dietz; granddaughters: Evelyn, Eliana, and Khatrira Nerbovig; brothers Mike and Jerry (Juanita); sister Marilyn (Randy) McMartin; and numerous nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, and friends.

Preceding him in death are his parents and sister Jeanne.

A celebration of life will occur at Florian Gardens, 2340 Lorch Ave, Eau Claire on Sunday, January 26th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
