Georjean “Gigi” Elizabeth Jansen (Rudd) passed away on January 7, 2022 at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, at the age of 73.
Gigi was born to George and Jeanne (Foss) Rudd on August 30, 1948. Gigi graduated from Regis High School, as well as from CVTC. In 1968, Gigi married the love of her life David, and had two wonderful children.
Gigi worked in the medical field for over 30 years. She enjoyed volunteering, visiting with friends and family, rides, various crafts, and dogs.
Gigi is survived by her husband David Jansen, her children Chad (Tammy) Jansen, Jennifer (Rob) Jansen-Bailey, brother Gregory (Sandy O’Connell) Rudd, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Gigi is preceded in death by her parents George and Jeanne Rudd, brother Robert Rudd, and several aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Pkwy, Altoona with visitation starting at 10 am. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Eau Claire.
