Gary Soley

Gary L. Soley, 71 of Fall Creek WI, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital as a result of a heart attack.
Gary was Born October 25, 1946 in Eau Claire, the son of the late Harold and Doris (Lawrence) Soley.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Altoona and the VFW post 10405 in Altoona. Gary proudly served from 1965 – 1967 in the Vietnam war, he worked at Uniroyal for 12 years and then opened and operated CCS Distributing, Inc. with his wife Janet for 36 years. In his spare time he enjoyed flower gardening and became a Certified Master Flower Gardner. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Gary is survived by his wife of 49 years Janet; Son, Nathan (Kristen) Soley, of Waverly, Mn.; grandchildren, Andrew, William, Elizabeth, Charlie, Thomas, Patrick, Mary, Jordan, and Colton; a sister, Patricia Cohoon; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son, Garret; two brothers, Robert Soley and Don Jensen.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Altoona. Friends may visit Thursday, June 7, from 4 -7 p.m. at Stokes, Prock and Mundt Funeral Chapel located at 535 Hillcrest Pky. Altoona WI. and one hour prior to mass on Friday at church. Prayer vigil will be held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
