Garret Lee Soley, 36, of Fall Creek died on June 17, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital from acute leukemia.
He was born on May 20, 1981 to Gary and Janet (Scheuermann) Soley in Eau Claire. Garret graduated from Altoona High School in 2000. He worked for CCS Distributing as a manager in the warehouse.
Garret enjoyed flying cessna airplanes and accomplished going solo in 2002. He also enjoyed riding his 4wheeler, going to theme parks, boating, watching hockey, exploring trails in Altoona, collecting baseball caps and going road tripping with friends.
He is survived by his two children: Jordan and Colton; parents: Gary and Janet Soley; brother, Nathan (Kristen) Soley; five nephews: Andrew, William, Charlie, Thomas and Patrick; two nieces: Elizabeth and Mary and other relatives.
Garret is preceded in death by his grandparents: Harold and Doris Soley and Leonard and Gladys Scheuermann; step grandfather, Robert Morissette and other relatives.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Altoona with Fr. Derek Sakowski officiating at 3:00 P.M. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Stokes, Prock, and Mundt Funeral Chapel, Altoona from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
