Elizabeth Goulet

Elizabeth (Betty) Goulet passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Lake Hallie Memory Care, under the care of St. Croix Hospice.  Betty was born on Christmas Day, 1931, to Jacob and Catherine (Krueger) Postl. She was one of 11 children.  She married Orville Goulet on September 22, 1953. She was a lifelong member of St. Charles Borromeo Church.

Betty worked at the Novelty Dry Cleaners for the most of her life.  But her most fulfilling job came in her later years when she served as luncheon supervisor at St. Charles Catholic Elementary School.  The love she received from her kids brought her endless joy and smiles.

Betty is survived by her two daughters, Mary (Bruce) Rosenau, step-grandson Chris; and Patricia (Gary) Wilson, and two grandchildren, Olivia and Matthew (fiancée Carley Schmidt).  She is also survived by three sisters, Sister Roger Marie Postl SSND, Janice Cloutier, and Joanne Meisner; and one brother, Joe (Deb) Postl.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband; parents; four brothers, Bill, Tom, Bob and Herman; and two sisters Margaret Dworschak and Cecilia Witt.

A private inurnment will be held at Old Hope Cemetery at a later date.
