Eleanora Ann Weber, age 67, of Chippewa Falls, WI passed away on January 7, 2025.
Nora was born in Milwaukee, WI on February 3, 1957 to Walter and Helma Weber. She graduated from Hamilton High School in Sussex, WI, where she was on the tennis team and performed in several plays. Nora was trained as a licensed practical nurse and had a certification as a medial coder. As a "coding guru," she traveled across the country to examine and fix medical records and train medical personnel. Nora spent a year working in Puerto Rico where she experienced many incredible adventures. She was very good at her job and often received promotions based on her accuracy.
Nora is survived by her brothers Don "Gary" Weber (Emily Knudtson) of Strum, WI, foster brother Jeff Robles of San Diego, CA, and foster sister Vicki Robles of Los Angeles, CA, nieces Jade (Chris) Janssen of Eau Claire, WI and Angela Weber (Matt Mantl) of Eau Claire, WI, nephew Jacob Weber (Allie Potter) of Milwaukee, WI. Great nephews Beau Jansen and Finley Eithun and great nieces Belle Janssen & Kodi Janssen. Nora also leaves behind her beloved roommates, Darcy and Chester Grey. Nora was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Helma (Erdmann) Weber.
Nora loved the lord with all her heart, was devoted to her church and loved spending time with her family. At our last family gathering on Christmas Eve, she was the life of the party as she told stories to her great nieces and great nephew about her adventures with wildlife during her travels. She had a blast that night! Nora touched many people with her unending generosity even when she herself had little money. She took on the role of "Tante" (German for Aunt) with many kids. She drove them to church, showed them unwavering love and even took some of them to Disneyland. She was a friend to many, always helping spiritually, financially, and emotionally whenever and however she could. Nora's generosity, kindness and love will live on through the people she touched throughout her life. She did all that she could to help others resulting in a zero balance in her bank account days before her death.
When her parents needed support, Nora stepped away from her life, moving to Phoenix and cared for her mom before her death. She returned years later to care for her father as well. Nora's parents immigrated from Europe after World War II. They taught her the value of family and hard work through their stories of surviving extreme hardships during and after the war. These stories inspired their children and grandchildren. Nora's parents took the children on many international trips to locations like Africa, New Zealand, Portugal, Jamacia, Tahiti and to Germany several times. Don, Nora's brother, recalled many great memories of fishing and her excitement over every catch making each trip so special.
Nora was powered by the spirit of the living God and prayed ceaselessly for others to come to know him as their Lord as well. She is in a great place now and that helps to relieve those who knew her of their sadness.
