Edwin Potter

Edwin Earl Potter, age 76 of New Richmond, WI passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 20, 2023 in New Richmond.  Ed was born in Radisson, WI on December 11, 1946.

He was a very talented transmission mechanic for Johnson Motors in New Richmond and held other various jobs until becoming permanently disabled.  Ed was smart in mathematics and enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns and reloading shotgun shells.

Ed is survived by his daughter Tami Potter (Wayne Swenson); granddaughters: Jessica Potter, Shawni (Anthony) Cole and Montana Potter (Rory Auckland); great-grandchildren: Kenadee Potter-Auckland, Seamus Auckland and Jaxon Cole; brothers Buddy White (Pam) and Marty White; sister Linda (Steve) Black; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his wife JoAnne; son Tim; birth mother Annabelle Pearl White; stepfather Bobby White; and adopted parents Earl and Julia Potter.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Lutheran Church of Arland, 698 8th Ave in Clayton, WI on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 2:00pm. Coffee and bars will be served at the church after the service.
