EDITH M. WOODWARD

Edith Marie Woodward, age 64, died Sunday, February 6, 2022, at home in Chippewa Falls, WI. Edith was born May 15, 1957, in Waukegan, IL to Arthur F. and Rose (Paukner) Woodward. Edith lived most of her life in Chippewa County. She enjoyed spending her days with her care providers, Karla Bednar and Gwenn Ouverson singing, listening to music and visiting with the Bednar/Ouverson family when they came to visit. She developed a special bond with Karen, a sister of Karla and Gwenn, and looked forward to face time with her on a regular basis. Edith’s strength showed through in many ways and she overcame many obstacles throughout her life.

Edith is survived by her sisters, Edna Dubrow, Gloria Springer and Mary (Homer) Randall; brothers, Donald and Paul Woodward; sisters-in-law, Bettie, Renee and Rose Woodward; Karla Bednar, Gwenn Ouverson and their extended family members; and her Guardian, Marit Waack from The Arc Eau Claire, Inc. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of supporting her and being part of her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Helen Woodward, Grace Benson and her twin sister, Anna Woodward; brothers Walter, Arthur, Bill, and Alfred; brother in laws Dale Dubrow, Robert Springer and Rodney Benson.

Graveside services will be held at Pembine Cemetery in Pembine, WI, on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 2 pm.
