It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dean Charles Pearson, age 85 years old on March 26, 2024. Dean was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and community member. He is survived by his wife Carol of 58 years, son Mark, daughter DeAnna, daughter Kimberly, grandson Nicholas, and grandson Alexander.
Dean was a Real Estate Broker for 48 years and served as the elected County Coroner for 4 terms. He was a dedicated and civic-minded individual who served his community in many ways serving with the National Guard, the City Council of Hayward, and the Sawyer County Board. He was a volunteer at the Hayward Fire Department. He was also an Emergency Medical Technician and a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.
He was highly respected in his field and was known for his professionalism and integrity as well as his humor and warm appreciation of everyone around him.
Outside of his professional life, Dean was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and skiing. He skied the American Birkebeiner 4 times and created a summer theater program for youth. Dean will be remembered for his kind heart, his dedication to his community, and his love for the outdoors.
He will be deeply missed by his family who loved him greatly, his friends, and all who knew him.
The world changes from year to year and our lives from day to day, but the love and memory of you Dean shall never pass away.
