Danny Standifer Sr.

Danny L Standifer Sr, 57, died unexpectedly Friday, February 21st, 2025, at home peacefully in his sleep. He was born March 17th, 1967, in St. Louis, MO to Mary A Petty and Willis Jackson.

Danny was known to friends and family as Hook the HNIC.

Hook was the oldest of 6 siblings. He graduated Sumner High School in 1985. He then enrolled in the Military and served from January 87' to December 88. Hook was honorably discharged due to medical reasons. He met his wife Elizabeth while enlisted and were married June 21st, 1988.

Hook and Beth started their family by the adoption of Beth's first born. They welcomed 4 more children, 2 boys and 2 girls. They then relocated to Eau Claire, WI where He was a proud long-term employee at Menards DC, Countertops division.

Hook was a proud grandpa of 15 beautiful grandchildren who were each gifted with unique nicknames.

He took every opportunity he could to make anyone smile and laugh. So much so that he was well known everywhere he went.

Danny is survived by (wife) Elizabeth; daughters: Lacy, Ashley, Ruby and Pearl; sons: Nicholas and Danny Jr.; granddaughters: Olaysia, Aubrie, Ariah and Ella Mae; grandsons: Dariusz, Julius, Damarion, Adonis, Saint, Jayvon, Emilio, Da'Vion, Da'Qari, Jeremiah and David; siblings: Joseph, Robert, Jeffrey, Darnell, Veronica, Jimmy.

There will be a public gathering from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona.
