Dale Hubbard

November 29, 1933 — November 24, 2023

Dale H. Hubbard died at his home in Eau Claire. He passed peacefully in his sleep in the early morning on November 24, 2023, just a few days before his 90 ^th birthday. Dale was born in Jackson County, Wisconsin on November 29 ^th , 1933. He moved to the Eau Claire area with his family in 1964, where he has been a resident these past 59 years. In earlier years he was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing whenever he could. He was a fan of University of Wisconsin football and basketball. He followed local sports with enthusiasm and attended when he could.

He is survived by his loving wife Margaret, four children, Bruce Hubbard (Carol), Pegi Zank, Jodi Burns (David), and Dale Hubbard Jr. (Jen), six grandchildren, Kiel Hubbard (Mai), Love West (Jake), Benjamin Dudley (Tiffany), Wolfgang Zank, Maxwell Burns (Bri) and Nicholas Burns, and ten great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his nephew Duane Mach who was more like a brother to him.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Kendra Dudley, his parents, five brothers and five sisters. He was the last of his family.

The funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on December 9, 2023 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 721 S State St, in Fall Creek with Pastor Brendan Harris officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hr prior.
