Clois Jean King Wesley passed on peacefully to her Heavenly home September 8, 2023, at Our House Memory Care Center in Eau Claire Wisconsin. She was 87 years old.
Clois was born August 27, 1936, to the late Algia and Ibera Stacy King. She was raised in Buffalo Texas where she graduated high school and continued on to Secretarial School.
In 1956, she met and married the love of her life, Charles Ray Wesley. They lived in Fort Lee Virginia where Charles was in the Army when their son Allen Keith was born. They then moved to Tyler, Texas and made it their home where Clois worked as the executive secretary to the president of Tyler Bank and Trust.
Clois lost Charles in a motor vehicle accident in 1969 and began raising Keith as a single mother.
She enjoyed traveling and lived in many States throughout her life. She studied homeopathic pain relief and used her knowledge to provide therapeutic massage to her friends and family. Clois was dedicated to Genealogy Studies, where she was able to locate vital information of those passed. She loved music, specifically Texas Swing and Elvis. Any chance she got, she to pull her grandson JT to the dance floor for a few songs. Clois loved singing Christian music with her sister Teresa, in person and on the phone. She loved her dogs Snoopy, Patsy, and Kong dearly.
Clois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, and her brother Delcer.
Clois is survived by her son Keith (Karen), her son Jon T. Wesley (Amilia); her brother Charles (Tana), her sister Teresa Roberts (Darrell). (Grandchildren: JT (Nikki), Austin (Jennifer) and Camden (Brenna), Justin and Ellie and 4 great grandchildren. Clois is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Clois was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Altoona Wisconsin.
Clois will be interned at Tyler Memorial Park and Cemetery, Tyler TX next to her husband Charles.
