Falch, Clement L. a life-long resident of Chippewa County passed away on May 8, 2017 at the Chippewa Manor. Clem was born on May 29, 1929 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Charles and Frances (Meyer) Falch.
Clem was a graduate of Fall Creek High School. On November 15, 1952, he was married to Anne Ableidinger at Holy Rosary Church, Durand, Wisconsin. Clem was a lifetime member of St. Bridget’s Church in Seymour, Wisconsin where he served on the council, finance and cemetery committees. He also served on many boards, including: Eau Claire Electric Cooperative, Ludington Cooperative Creamery Association, and Associated Milk Producer’s Incorporated.
Clem farmed the majority of his life and also worked as an electrician. He was a handyman who always was willing to help his neighbors, family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, and going down the roads less traveled.
Clem is survived by his seven children: Charles (Dianne), Eau Claire; Mark (Geri), Steve (Roberta Nyhus), Linda, Kevin (Celeste Overman), Chippewa Falls; Shari (Greg) Durocher, Anchorage, Alaska; Janet (Allen) Andress, Bedford, Texas, and eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne, and his parents.
The family would like to offer special thanks to the caring and helpful staff of the Chippewa Manor, St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice, and Mayo Clinic Health System.
A visitation will be held from four to seven p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel & Crematory located at 535 South Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona, Wisconsin.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church located at 2801 North 110th Avenue, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
