Brenda Gudmanson
April 2, 1979 — April 22, 2024
Brenda Lee Gudmanson, 45 of Chippewa Falls, WI passed away peacefully at home on hospice on Monday April 22, 2024 with her husband Shawn, and friend Misty by her side.
Brenda was born April 2, 1979 in Stanley, WI at Victory Memorial Hospital. Brenda graduated from Stanley Boyd High School in 1997 and continued on to receive a child care degree from Chippewa Valley Technical college.
Brenda met the love of her life in 2009, they united in marriage on October 8th, 2012. They were married for almost 12 years. Brenda worked as a candy striper at Victory Memorial Hospital for 6 years, then went on to do in-home child care, and other jobs until her health prevented her from working.
Brenda enjoyed scrapbooking, cooking, planting flowers and coloring pages. She also enjoyed going on road trips and spending time with her friends, swimming, fishing, and listening to music.
Brenda was an amazing person that everyone loved, she would give the shirt off her back to anyone who needed help. Brenda's favorite pastime was spending time with their godson Channing.
Brenda is survived by her husband Shawn Gudmanson of Chippewa Falls, WI, godson Channing of Boyd. A brother Michael (Camille)Luke of Tumwater, WA, 2 Nephews Chandler (Mercedes) of Tumwater, WA, Draevin Luke of Tumwater, WA. Mother-in-Law Linda Calkins, Father-in-Law Charles Kiehl, Brother in laws Cory, Greg, Mike, Jason (Amanda) Chuck and Darrell. Her Sister-in-Laws Lisa, Sarah, and Angela, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. And her (2) pets Zowie and Sylvester.
Brenda is Preceded in death by her Mother Diane Schacht, Father David Luke, child Angel Lee Gudmanson and brother-in-law Farrin Peterson and sister-in-law in infancy Shirley Elizabeth. The family of Brenda would like to thank Mayo hospice for all the wonderful care given, along with the help of her husband Shawn and Misty.
Brenda was brave fighting through her health battles for many years.
Brenda will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Her wishes were to be cremated and taken on one last ride to Lake Superior.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
