Betty Jean Reinhardt, age 82 passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024.
Betty Jean Seipel was born on November 2, 1941 in Plum City, Wisconsin to John and Vera (Carsten) Seipel. Her mother died when she was two years old and several years later her father married Maryann (Dankers) Seipel.
Betty was married from 1958 to 1975 and had 6 children. She spent much of her adult life working in long term care, 35 years as a nurse. She enjoyed reading (especially history), writing, gardening, and conversing with her family.
She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Teresa Jean, her parents John, Vera, and her stepmother Maryann, siblings Barbara Prissel and John Seipel. Also close, and dear to Betty were her grandmother Emily Carsten, Aunt Stella Seipel, and her former mother-in-law Ruby Reinhardt.
She is survived by her children Paul (Lois) Reinhardt, Randall (Vicki) Reinhardt, Rosemary (David)Welle Reinhardt, Chris (Tess) Reinhardt and Rebecca (Bruce) Reinhardt. She has seven grandchildren, Clorice, Allison, Megan, Teresa, Austin, Jeremiah, and Vanessa. Also her sister Mary (Joe) Cosgrove, and brothers Richard (Tami) Seipel and Kim (Judy) Seipel and their families.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
