Barbara (Johnson) Niva passed away on Feb 29th, 2024 after battling multiple myeloma cancer
since Sept 2021. She was born Feb 7th, 1944 in Princeton, Illinois to Richard and Babe
Johnson.
Barb was energetic, upbeat and embraced life. She also enjoyed video poker, cards and always had time for a garage sale.
She is survived by her 2 children: Jeff (Sue) Niva of Saint Michael, MN, and Julie (Scott) Bahnub of Osseo, WI; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; her sister Sandra Johnson (Tennessee); and her special friend Dennis Reno, who Barb met late in life and resided happily with in Chippewa Falls since 2020.
Services will be held at Bateman Lutheran Church, 20588 Hwy X Chippewa Falls, WI on April 2nd, 2024 at 11:00am.
Lunch to follow the service. There will be no graveyard service.
Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family. Online condolences may be shared at www.cremationsociety-wi.com .
