Barbara Berg

Barbara Berg died September 10, 2023. Born October 31, 1933 to Ida (Clark) and Joseph DuPont. She married April 12, 1952 to John Arthur Berg in Stillwater, MN. Together they had seven children. She worked several jobs throughout her life while also doing her fulltime career as wife and mother. When asked what her greatest accomplishment was by one of her doctors she said it was raising her kids and none of them had police records.

She was strong willed to the end and made her own decisions. She loved a lot of people and never forgot a birthday or anniversary. You always knew you could expect to get a card from her in the mail signed by either Mom, Grandma or Great-Grandma.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, John “Snuffy” Berg, parents, grandson Brandon Lee and siblings Marion Canfield, Evelyn Sylvester, Robert DuPont, Donald DuPont, and Edith Gilbert.

She is survived by her children: Terri Parker, John (Mary) Berg, Jerry (Leanne) Berg, Tom (Cindy) Berg, Tamara Fountain, Tanya (Dan) Sheehan and Jack (Jamie) Berg and special son Mike (Diane) DuPont.

She is also survived by her grandchildren: Zachary (Stacey) Mueller, Ashley (Patrick) Poindexter, Garrett Parker, Amanda Lee, Cory (Nicole) Berg, Stephanie Berg, Jennifer (Cody) Leech, Candace (David) Flatley, Samantha Berg, Tyler (Jade) Fountain, Nathaniel (Alicia) Sheehan, Megan (Jess) Sheehan, Jacob Berg, Jonah Berg, Amy (Benny) Guzman; great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Patrick and Emma Mueller, Colton and Molly Poindexter, Ruby Lee, Callie and Cruz Berg, Noah Simpson, Sophia Flatley, Jolisa Rosas, Gabriel Montoya, Olive Fountain, Elizabeth Sheehan, Ethan Sheehan, Ryleigh Zurek, Bryce and Aiden Zwicker. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Service and burial are private.
