Arlene S. Pederson, 86, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, surrounded by family at Park View Home in Woodville.
Arlene was born to Daniel and Susana Sirotiak on January 5, 1939 in Boyceville. She married Robert Pederson, her husband of 67 years, on December 29, 1956. In 1966, Bob, Arlene, and their two children, Lori and Rance, moved to the family farm near Connorsville. After raising their two children, Arlene worked at Son's Tool in Woodville for 25 years.
Arlene was the glue that held her family together, and anytime someone came to visit, she made sure they left well-fed. Arlene was always busy, whether she was gardening, sewing, baking, crocheting, cooking, playing games, reading; when she had a few minutes, you could catch her lying on the floor and resting. She loved collecting antiques and bunnies and decorating her house with them. But, more than anything, she loved a house full of family, especially with her grandchildren and great-granddaughters.
Arlene is survived by her children Lori (Sam) Petrovich and Rance (Lisa) Pederson; siblings Donald (Myrna) Sirotiak and Doris Hanson; grandchildren Bobbie (Aron) Dunn and Dan (Jessica) Pederson; great-granddaughters Kira and Kaci Dunn, along with many nieces and nephews.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband and parents; siblings Leonard Sirotiak, Lorraine Trulen, and Marian Formoe; nephew Michael Talmage; niece Judy Williams; brothers-in-law Chester Pederson, Robert Trulen, Vernon Formoe, and Selmer Hanson; sisters-in-law Doris Talmage, June Pederstuen, Helen Bjugstad, Patricia Small, and Jean Larson.
A celebration of life will be held on April 13, 2025 from 12:00-4:00 pm at the Boyceville Community Center in Boyceville, WI.
Cremation Society of Wisconsin, Altoona is assisting the family. Online condolences may be shared at www.cremationsociety-wi.com.
