Alan T. Jones, age 64 of Jim Falls, passed away with his daughters by his side on Thursday, January 25, 2024. He was born on June 16, 1959 in Eau Claire to the late LaVerne and Joyce Jones.
Alan enjoyed having visitors come over and spending time with him. He loved his cat, Panther and he enjoyed traveling on his motorcycle, working on old cars and watching Gunsmoke. Alan owned and operated a dairy farm, hauled milk for Falls Dairy and he owned Powder Plus.
He married Dixie Hofland in 1980, they later divorced. In 1986, he married the late Sylvia Fisk.
Alan is survived by his daughters Angela (Jeff) Bohl and Andrea “Punky” Jones; grandchildren Natalee and Nathan; trusted friend Jane Smiskey; sister-in-law Judy Jones; ½ sister Charyl Price; nieces and nephew; dogs Opie, Penny and Tucker; and many close friends that helped Alan out.
Preceding him in death are his parents, wife Sylvia (1990); son Nathan (1990) and brother LaVerne Jones Jr.
A private graveside service will be held in the spring of 2024.
The family would like to thank the Heartland Hospice Care Team, Joy, Josh, Mark and Leta for their care of Alan.
