Aimee Wentzel

Aimee Rose (Hehl) Wentzel, age 66 of Fall Creek, WI passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Eau Claire surrounded by family. She was born December 31, 1958 in Eau Claire, WI to the late Eilert and Bonnie Hehl.

Aimee loved her long career at Walgreens and her family. She loved helping people and being the listening ear to anyone who needed it. If someone needed a place to stay or a meal she never turned them down. She enjoyed hosting events for anyone who asked. Her fun loving personality touched everyone she came in contact with. Aimee also had a passion for animals, her horses, cats, dogs, birds, and fish were always spoiled.

Aimee was preceded in death by her parents, Eilert and Bonnie Hehl; brothers, Chris Hehl and Cecil Hehl, sister, Clara Pettis; aunt, Yavonne Borgeson, uncles, Victor Hutton and Richard Hutton.

She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Wentzel, Fall Creek, WI; children, Amanda Tomaszewski, Osseo, WI, Jason (Anna) Wentzel, Fall Creek, WI; grandchildren, Cassandra Wentzel, Binghamton, NY, Elizabeth (Zack) Hipp, Fairchild, WI, Joshua Tomaszewski, Osseo, WI; great grandchild, Ivy Hipp, Fairchild, WI; brother and sisters, Becky (Glen) Bublitz, Withee, WI, Cindy Streveler, Osseo, WI, Dennis (Pam) Hehl, Chippewa Falls, WI, Sue (Bill) Oberle, Rochester, MN, Theresa Hehl, Mazeppa, MN, Dolly Hehl, Barnes, WI, Patty Jo (Mark) Thalacker, Fall Creek, WI, Benjamin (Teri) Hehl, Osseo, WI, Sarah (Mark) Gindt, La Crosse, WI, Gene (Betty) Hehl, Poynette, WI and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Aimee's Celebration of life will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
